Communist Vietnamese honor John Kerry

This is really something when Kerry went to nam in June of this year to be honored on their wall, what does this tell you about this man. This was at the Vietnamese Communist War Remnants Museum and also known as the War crimes Museum. Think about what this act tells all of us. This wall is dedicated to the foreign activists who contributed to the Communist victory over us American's in the vienam war. This all took place 06/04 in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) Now this so called man wants to lead our troops in this war, I don't think so. The things he has said about our troops in 1971 should tell us all what this man is all about. If he is telling the truth then he should put out his record # 184 but this will not happen, he is running as fast as he can and blame Bush for everything under the sun just to keep them away from the truth. Lets say you don't care about any of that. Then think about his voting record all those votes he missed and they were important to our Country and to our troops. What kind of man would just walk away from all of this even after 9/11. Let me know what you think? But please what ever you do please think before you do it, this is our Country and we need to think about a man like this. Here is somthing else, we all hear Kerry go on and on about Bush sending jobs over seas, Now don't you think Kerry should tell us about the 37- 38 companies that he and his wife has over there? For me I am one unhappy camper ,this is BULL. Well here it is like it or not. Thanks

I think that the nam thing is an important issue. I think that the swift boat guys are being honest. I think it is wrong that John Kerry asked G.W. Bush to make em stop. Where was Kerry's condemnations when Bush's record was in question?

Kerry specifically condemned the attacks on Bush's record, and if you think Kerry made us lose the Vietnam War, you are sadly mistaken.

I'm a little bit confused about all of what you wrote but i will try to make a comment relevent to your statement. I don't like corruption and I don't care which side it is on. I am a democrat and if there were corruption on the democratic side I would not like it and I don't like it on the Republican side. I don't appreciate our President bad mouthing someone in order to gain votes. He didn't even fight in any wars did he? Where exactly was he during the Vietnam war? One thing I can tell you was that he wasn't there. You see from what I have heard, Kerry was in the viscinity of where he claimed to be. Even if he wasn't where he claimed to be, at least he was fighting in the Vietnam war. At least he represented our heroic men. I really don't care anymore about the election because the same thing that happened in 2000 will happen again. Many people around the country will not have there voices heard because of corruption. Do our voices really matter? From the voting point of view, does the electoral college even make sense? What's the point of its existence? Kerry or Bush. . .I don't know. . .I don't even know whether it matters. . . . . . .

But Vietnam itself believes that Kerry helped contribute to the communist victory. Are they simply wrong about their own history?

There are some reputable POWs from the Vietnam war who spent years, unlike Kerry's 4 months, being tortured because they refused to say what Kerry came right home and said.  That is why Vietnam likes Kerry and a whole lot of Vietnam vets don't.

The sad thing is, if you are one of the "anyone but Bush" crowd, you aren't going to open your eyes and use your brain about Kerry regarding his service in Vietnam.  He got how many medals in 4 months?  I know men who served years in WWII and lost limbs that have less medals and toot their own horns a whole hell of a lot less.

You can't compare Bush to Kerry regarding service during war because Kerry is running on the "I'm a war hero" platform and Bush is not and never did.  Also, just because you were in a war (for 4 months) doesn't mean you can be a better leader than anyone else.

I have absolutely no respect for Kerry.  There is nothing solid about the man.  He has no convictions of any kind.  He plays every angle and every side of every issue.  I would say he was the ultimate politician but he lacks the charisma.

I'm just thoroughly depressed that Kerry and GW are our choices.
